BRING YOUR MEDS

ALL MEDS TO NURSE
State law requires that all medications (prescription, OTC, and vitamins) be kept in the health office, so please do not pack them in suitcases or bags.
ORIGINAL CONTAINERS
All prescription medications must be in their original containers with current dosage instructions. Pill bottles should only include the amount needed for the session—leave the rest at home! Creams, inhalers, and other boxed items must have labels.
UP-TO-DATE
All medication must be prescribed to the camper. Check the expiration date – all meds must be current!
Leave OTC MEDS AT HOME
Save the packing space! We stock plenty of meds for occasional, as-needed use. If your camper takes a daily allergy med, please check it in on Monday morning.

CABIN REQUESTS

Coming to camp with a friend can make the experience even more exciting!

If your camper would like to request a cabin mate, those requests must be submitted through your registration account prior to your camper’s session. Each camper may request up to two cabin mates. Groups larger than three campers will be divided to help us create healthy, balanced cabin communities.

The deadline to submit or adjust cabin requests is one week before your camper’s arrival. While we do our very best to honor requests, cabin placements are ultimately made at our team’s discretion to ensure the best possible experience for every camper.

CAMP STORE

The camp store (we call it the ‘Red Canoe’) exists to support the camp experience, not compete with it. It’s a place for campers to grab a forgotten essential, pick up some Lake Ann Camp gear, or take home a small reminder of a meaningful week.

Nothing in the Red Canoe is required. Everything is optional and intentionally chosen to fit camp life.

Revenue from the camp store contributes to camper scholarships.

CAMPER MAIL

LETTERS
Mail call is often a highlight of the day. You’re welcome to mail letters in advance or drop them off at check-in on Monday morning for delivery later in the week. We encourage simple, positive notes that help your camper stay confident and engaged.
EMAIL
Our one-way camper email program allows campers to receive messages from home, which are printed and delivered at lunch each day. Campers are not able to reply.
PACKAGES
Care packages and birthday surprises are welcome and always exciting to receive. You’re welcome to mail packages in advance or drop them off at check-in on Monday morning for delivery later in the week.

PHOTOS & MEDIA

Media is how we tell the story of camp.

Digital media can be purchased in advance during registration through CampBrain or at the media table during pick-up on Saturday mornings.

While our team works hard to document camp, we can’t guarantee photos or videos of every camper. Our focus is on capturing the story of camp as it unfolds, not documenting every moment.

TECHNOLOGY

Camp is designed to help campers step away from everyday distractions and fully engage in the people and experiences around them.

While campers may bring personal technology, it is not encouraged. Devices are the sole responsibility of the camper, and Lake Ann Camp is not responsible for loss or damage.

To help everyone stay present, Tuesdays and Thursdays are encouraged as technology-free days.

If a device becomes a distraction from the camp experience, our staff may temporarily hold it.

Our goal isn’t to restrict, it’s to create space for growth and community.

FAQs

That’s more common than you think! Our staff are intentional about helping every camper feel welcomed, included, and confident from the moment they arrive.

Many campers come without a friend and leave with several. Cabin groups are designed to help campers build strong connections quickly.

Absolutely. If there is ever a concern regarding your camper’s health, safety, or well-being, our team will contact you directly.

Each day is filled with activities, time at the waterfront, cabin moments, meals together, and meaningful chapel sessions. Campers stay active, engaged, and surrounded by a positive community.

Cabins are organized by grade and program. While we do our best to honor cabin requests, our team thoughtfully builds each cabin to create a healthy, balanced group.
