STOP BY THE RED CANOE
The camp store exists to support the camp experience, not compete with it. It’s a place for campers to grab a forgotten essential, pick up some Lake Ann Camp gear, or take home a small reminder of a meaningful week.
Nothing in the Red Canoe is required. Everything is optional and intentionally chosen to fit camp life.
Revenue from the camp store contributes to camper scholarships.
WHAT’S IN STORE?
Stocked with practical essentials and fun gear campers love.
From everyday necessities to souvenirs they’ll use, it’s designed to make camp life easier while giving campers a few chances to pick something out on their own. You’ll find Lake Ann Camp apparel, water bottles, hats, and small keepsakes, along with basics like toiletries and sunscreen in case something gets forgotten
HANDLING SPENDING MONEY
Campers do not need spending money to have a great week of camp.
All meals, activities, and daily needs are fully covered. Spending money is optional and used only for small extras during the week. Most families send between $50–$100 for the week. Some send less, some send none at all. Counselors help campers manage their spending so it lasts the week.
“Lake Ann provides amazing facilities that are thoughtful, well-maintained, and designed with camper safety in mind.”

SHOPPING TIMES & PAYMENT
The camp store is open at several points throughout the week, including during check-in and pick-up, so parents are welcome to stop in as well. During the week, campers can visit the store during scheduled free times, making it a fun, optional part of their camp experience rather than a required activity.
Families can add spending money in advance through CampBrain, our registration platform. Campers use a wristband to make purchases, which helps keep things simple and secure. Cash and cards are also accepted for those who prefer them.
Counselors can help campers think through purchases and manage their spending so their money lasts and their experience stays positive.
